So, here goes! Our first blog post...I love coffee and enjoy writing so figured let's start this and see where it ends up.
Many of you know who we are and may have come across us at events, but for the rest of you...let me introduce ourselves. I'm Levi (The wifey) who deals with the branding, the website etc and Steve (The hubby) is the one responsible for the coffee roasting and delivering your lovely coffee. We're not the most camera confident (we're working on it) so you won't find us dancing on TikTok anytime soon! and if we do...know that it's probably not coffee we're drinking. Ha.
BUT hopefully, through this blog and following our socials you will get to know us and what we're about!
I wont go into too much detail about us because we have a page for that. But, we both fell in love with specialty coffee whilst living in Australia and struggled to find the same standard when we returned home. We bored family and friends about it and always spoke about how we would love to own our own coffee business. As we all know, life likes to throw a few curve balls at times and we decided to say F*ck it and start our own roastery.
In between Steve's full time job and myself being a part time nurse and full-time mummy to our 2 children, we run our small business! We have sacrificed a lot for this business of ours, but it's all to build for something bigger and more exciting in the near future.
We were recently awarded "Highly commended" in the Family Run business of the year from The Essex Small Business Awards.
Plus, we have been given the opportunity to be an exhibitor at The London Coffee Festival 2025!!! Which is kind of a big deal!!
We have other things we are working on behind the scene, but we will share more when we know more ;)
I hope to use this space to update you all on what's happening but to also to share knowledge and information about all things coffee!!
